Our students participated in the inaugural session of the ‘Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai
LitFest 2023, at the Tata Theatre, NCPA on Friday 27th October 2023.

The inaugural session titled ‘For the Love of The Word – The Anil Dharker Session’ on
Friday had celebrated author-politician Shashi Tharoor in conversation with British-American
author and TV host Mehdi Hasan, talking about his love for the English language, his
inspirations and role models for writing, speaking and debating, and his relationship with
other languages, Indian and foreign.

Students of the PG Advance Diploma in Journalism and Digital Media programme attended
the session and interacted with the speakers thereafter.

“It was a pleasure to meet Mehdi Hasan in person. I have seen him on television but to
witness him live was a new experience. I am feeling inspired and I wish to be where he is

The on-ground edition of the five-day ‘Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai Litfest 2023’,
commenced from Friday, and will be held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts
(NCPA) in Nariman Point, and St Pauls Institute of Communication Education and Title
Waves bookstore in Bandra.
