Computers are the need of the hour, as millennials take on new fields of study. Advancements in online learning and other constant updates/upgrades in educational technology means everyone HAS TO learn things as they happen, or else they will be considered redundant.
On Monday, 23rd July 2018, St Pauls Institute of Communication Education, Mumbai (SPICE), proudly inaugurated a new 30-seater multimedia lab. The aim of the new lab- in line with our mission to help enhance ‘skill sets’ -will help students fine tune their design interests, as they advance in the field of media and design. This hi-tech computer multimedia lab is equipped with the latest ‘i7’ processors, and new software to teach editing, design, graphics, animation and related subjects.
Rev. Fr. Varghese Gnalian, the Provincial Superior of the Society of St Paul blessed the lab; Rev. Fr. Sebastian, the DGA inaugurated the lab; and Rev. Fr. Dominic D’silva, Director, SPICE welcomed students and encouraged them to use the lab to put their theory learnings into practice, saying practice makes one perfect.
Sweets were distributed to all students, staff members, and well-wishers in attendance.
