Applicants must be between 18–35 years of age. | |
As English is the language of instruction at St Pauls Institute of Communication Education, Mumbai, proficiency in speaking, listening to, reading and writing English is essential. |
The applicant may use the online mode on the website to fill and submit the course-related application form, upload the documents and make an online payment towards the application form.

Personal Interview Process:
- There will be a personal interview with the Programme Director.
- Selected candidates will be intimated via email, with further instructions on the completion of formalities and joining the programme.

Satish Bhatia, a veteran filmmaker, director, and freelance producer has been an inspiration in the media industry. From being the Head of the Film and Camera Department of Doordarshan, helping it expand and grow to develop India’s National Broadcast Network, his contributions have been immense.
A recipient of several awards, he has been lauded for his news and current affairs coverage for multiple news channels. He is renowned for his contribution to documentaries for UNESCO, BBC, and Transtel. Mr. Bhatia has 20 years of experience teaching Film and Television courses at prestigious colleges like Xavier’s Institute of Communication and UPG.

Professional and Expert Educators

Arun Sukumar, Director, Writer and Educator
A film direction graduate from FTII, Pune, he is an exemplary individual in the media industry. He was the scriptwriter and associate director for movies like *My Friend Pinto (2011)* and *Phobia (2016)*.
He has been teaching at Xavier Institute of Communication for over 12 years and is currently working on his directorial debut in Bollywood.

Dev Agarwal, Director, Writer and Educator
An acclaimed cinematographer, he is known for his stark images, capturing his characters with unforced realism. He graduated in Cinematography from FTII, Pune and is best known for his work in the movie *Citylights*.
With two Golds at the Foxglove Advertising Awards, he has also shot several features, corporate, advertising, and documentary films that have taken him around the globe — making him the established cinematographer that he is.

Moninder Pratap Singh
Moninder is a seasoned director, screenwriter, and copywriter with over 18 years of industry experience. His notable works include being a writing associate for *M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story*, and the screenplay writer for several OTT series including *Apahran* (ALTBalaji).
His feature film *Ek Tha Bhuhang* was invited to the Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival and was also featured in Asian Panorama at the International Children’s Film Festival of India.

Rajan Das, Director, Writer and Educator
After graduating from FTII, Pune he worked as a director, writer; as well as an educator in cinema, TV and corporate films in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Indonesia.
Some of his notable works include chief assistant director for *Swarnabhuj* (Zee TV), writing screenplays for TV series like *Crime Patrol* (Sony), *Siddhant* (Star One), and *Rihayee* (Sony). He has also edited over 100 documentaries and corporate films. With over 20 years of experience in writing, direction, and teaching, he is a valuable asset to the industry and the media fraternity.

Satish Bhatia

Noteworthy is her award-winning documentary “Nothing But a Human,” showcasing her narrative finesse. Swati’s collaborations include Netflix and Dharma Productions, reflecting her versatility across genres.

Sapna Chandra
With degrees from FTII Pune and experience spanning feature films, corporate projects, and ad films, Sapna brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.
Her notable contributions include work on acclaimed productions like “Band Baaja Baarat” and “Fevicol A+.” Sapna’s passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics shines through in her teaching, inspiring students to hone their craft and excel in the dynamic world of filmmaking.
