POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM IN JOURNALISM

The demand for news and news stories is on the rise as people are learning and exploring about what is happening in the world with unlimited access to digital. Therefore, we need professionals to observe our world and report with exactitude. At the School of Journalism, you will be best equipped to step in to a well-informed world. Television is already the secondary screen, we turn to for news, views and entertainment. Smart phone mobile devices can be the key technology to enable the concept of “Internet of Things” by connecting devices. This new wave of change is likely to alter the way news and other content is created, distributed, consumed and monetised in India. Today, people have access and consume content on websites, blogs, social media apps, image and video platforms. At St Paul's Institute of Communication Education, we embrace change and our Post Graduate Program in Journalism focuses exclusively on the basics of journalism. The program will encourage you to research and recognise news and most of all, write high-quality and publishable work.

There are no formal examinations on this course. Students are continuously assessed by a variety of methods including essays, presentations, and participation in class.

It is important that students feel confident of their abilities to present creative ideas or arguments in front of an audience of their peers.

A course review takes place periodically to ensure that the curriculum is current and relevant to employers. Students meet with review panels to provide feedback on their experiences. testing
